Switched from Wainwrights
Buddy’s Mummy on 29 July 2018
We have recently adopted a greyhound and on advice from our vet have moved onto this food. The wainwrights was fine, he was eating it but his coat seemed a little dull. It’s now very shiny, even though he’s not fully on the Royal Canin yet, and more to the point he really likes the taste - he sifts through his bowl and picks out the Royal Canin before eating the rest. Some places suggest that better quality food means less waste on the way out - so far I’ve not found this to be the case although it is definitely more solid and easier to pick up
We have two vizslas and they have always been fed Royal canin maxi

Great product especially as our elder vizsla is wheat intolerant.
Both the four year old and the seven year old have been fed royal canin since puppies but as one has turned seven we decided he may benefit from the 5 year plus feed as it has more glucosamine for his joints and as he ages this should help keep him supple and hopefully active .doubt I would ever change from royal canin as they have both thrived very well , always empty bowls 😋
Great food for a healthy dog
